Abstract

There is a revolution in healthcare with Artificial Intelligence (AI) using data analysis and automation to improve diagnostics, treatment, and patient management. This review examines the background behind AI, its major uses, advantages and ethical, legal, and social consideration of the adoption of AI in healthcare systems. Medical imaging and predictive analytics, as well as personalized medicine and administrative optimization, are just some of the many ways that AI can enhance efficiency, accuracy and patient outcomes. Nevertheless, there are still issues of data quality, bias, privacy, and the barriers to implementation.
