Article Processing Charges
Global Trends in Science and Technology (GTST) is an open access journal committed to providing free and unrestricted access to published research. To support editorial handling, peer review management, and online publication, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only after manuscript acceptance.
APC Structure
Standard APC: USD 150
Reduced APC: USD 75 (applicable for authors from eligible low-income countries)
No submission fee is required. Charges are applied only after acceptance.
What the APC Covers
The Article Processing Charge contributes to the following services:
- Editorial evaluation and peer review management
- Manuscript formatting and production
- Online hosting and publication
- DOI registration and metadata management
- Indexing support and database submission
- Digital archiving and long-term preservation
- Open access availability for global readership
Waivers and Discounts
GTST provides partial or full APC waivers in specific circumstances, including:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries
- Members affiliated with Global Alliance for Scientific Studies (GASS)
- Students and early-career researchers with limited funding
- Authors demonstrating financial hardship
Requests for APC waivers should be made before or at the time of submission.
Payment Procedure
After acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an official email containing payment instructions. Payment should be completed prior to publication.

Refund Policy
If a manuscript is withdrawn after payment but before the production stage, a full refund may be issued. Once the article enters production or is published, APCs are non-refundable.
