Peer Review Policy

Global Trends in Science and Technology (GTST) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic quality. In this review model, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the evaluation process. Reviewer comments provided to authors remain anonymous, promoting unbiased and constructive assessment of submitted manuscripts.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are initially screened by the editorial office to ensure they meet the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Suitable submissions are then assigned to two or more independent experts in the relevant field for detailed evaluation.

Reviewers are requested to assess:

  • Scientific quality and originality of the research
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Methodological soundness and clarity
  • Validity of results and conclusions
  • Ethical compliance and academic integrity
  • Overall presentation and organization

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept as submitted
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Major revisions required
  • Reject

When necessary, the Editor-in-Chief may consult members of the Editorial Board or additional reviewers before making a final decision. The journal aims to complete the peer review process efficiently while maintaining rigorous academic standards.
